Using Your Clothes & Jewelry to Express Yourself

Usually, I’m the kind of gal who prefers jeans and t-shirts. I like to keep things comfortable and casual. I may swap out my t-shirt for a nice tank top every once in a while, but nothing too drastic. One element I always consider is jewelry. I won’t leave home without my diamond stud earrings and my pendant necklace. As an active individual this style suites my needs perfectly. I like to think of it as a classier version of casual.

Sometimes, however, I need to express myself a little more creatively with my jewelry and clothing. I tend to have the urge to make a statement and turn heads. I don’t like to pay full price for anything, and enjoy watching out for sales. When I have a coupon, it gives me a thrill and I usually treat it as if it’s cash I have to spend. I particularly love the ones that give you a discount off your entire purchase at any one store, for example $10 or $20 off a purchase of a particular amount. It’s so much better than just putting particular trends or items on sale. It gives me the freedom to pick out clothing, jewelry and accessories that I might not consider buying at full price.

My most recent purchase was a camisole set that is comfy and perfect for summer, and of course, I had a coupon! Before that purchase, I used a discount on a few dress shirts for my boyfriend, which were on sale and ended up costing less than the price of one at regular price!

I don’t consider myself a shop-a-holic, because I can’t be happy with my purchases unless I find it on sale. I usually don’t buy something unless I find a coupon for the store I’m shopping in. I love a good deal when I see one because it helps me to express myself and since I’m always on the hunt for a bargain I don’t really ever feel guilty.

Well, I guess I will check my inbox to see I’ve gotten any new Lane Bryant coupons from my favorite retailers. Now I have the urge to buy something new, maybe I will pick up something with bows on it?
