Make sure you are showing your pet everything that you want them to be used to.
If you desire for your dog to wear dog outfits, allow him wear the outfits when they are young pups. That way, they won’t have a fear of clothes. This will make it a whole lot easier to train him not to be having certain phobias.
Learning How to Deal With It
If your dog has a noise phobia, make certain that you are
doing something to help get them over their fear a.s.a.p. Also, make certain
that you introduce your dog to the noise a little at a time. If your dog is
frightened of the grinding coffee machine or a running car engine, they will
eventually become accustomed to it. Avoid kenneling them away from the things
that frighten them most, like the TV set or music. Simply lower the sound until
they are used to them.

when my boy was a pup, we enrolled him in puppy school and they did alot of socialisation and exposure to strange sights and sounds, that a puppy / dog will be exposed to over their life, such as party poppers, whistles, party blowers electric tools and lots nore. They even hires a clown to get the dogs used to this strange site..

I am semi-permanently watching the dog of the people who own the lodge I run. We are a few hundred miles away from an airforce base and all the latest jets fly right around our area several times a week at ALL hours. the dog is a two year old yellow lab who cannot handle the sound of the jets.He dribbles urine, shakes, won't go outside, follows any human at a hairsbreadth's space, and is generally a nuisance. He's afraid the jets will kill him. I'm afraid that I will kill him. This behavior is extremely annoying. how do you deal with this kind of phobia? Sending him back is not an option right now.
